History: Millicent and Marcus met at Hogwarts, they were both Slytherins, but were a few years apart, they were known to be something of social outcasts, even within their own house. They married some time after Millicent's graduation, and Stephen was born a few years later. They were thrilled to have a son in order to continue their lineage, and from a young age he was constantly pressured to find a pureblooded wife to ensure the continuation of pureblood wizard families in the United Kingdom. Stephen was never quite as elitist as they were, although he never did have a liking for muggleborns, he felt they were unfit to study magic. When Stephen was still young his parents had another child.

The year after he turned eleven (due to his birthday being after the cut-off date) Stephen received his Hogwarts letter and was sent off to the very school his parents had attended. There he was glad to have the opportunity to establish an identity for himself, although he found himself shoved down the same path as his parents, not being terribly popular among his peers. Stephen never minded, he liked having the option of admiring from afar rather than plunging right into the middle of the action. His Hogwarts years passed rather uneventfully, he scored highly on his OWL exams, and his hoping to do just as well on the NEWT, although has no idea what he wants to do with his life.
